Welcome to Comhardú. By using this website and/or our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website.

1. Services Provided

We offer professional Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness services for individuals. Sessions may be conducted in-person or online, depending on mutual agreement.

All services are provided in accordance with professional ethical standards and guidelines as set out by IACP, MTAI.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and above, unless otherwise agreed upon for adolescent or family therapy services. You must be a resident of the Republic of Ireland (or disclose otherwise) when engaging in therapy with us.

3. Confidentiality

All sessions are strictly confidential. However, confidentiality may be broken under the following circumstances:

  • If there is a risk of harm to you or others

  • In cases of child protection concerns

  • If required by law or a court order

In all cases, we will strive to inform you before taking any action, unless doing so would increase risk.

4. Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • Sessions must be booked in advance.

  • We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

  • Missed sessions without notice may also be charged in full.

5. Fees and Payment

Fees will be agreed upon before therapy begins. Payment is due at the time of the session unless otherwise arranged.

6. Emergency and Crisis Support

We do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in immediate distress or require urgent support, please contact:

  • Your GP or local out-of-hours service

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
